oh those eyes...

i had the delight of shooting some family portraits for friends of ours...this is their first christmas with their little boy! "K" has the most amazing blue eyes, a sweet little dimple in his chin and dad gave him a little baby mohawk. he was picture perfect!

being my own boss...

this has been a very exciting season for me, because i have the time, space, and inspiration to finally pursue photography as my full-time vocation!

it's scary, fun, adventurous, empowering, playful...and well hopefully successful and fulfilling!

my web-site is still "under construction" but by the start of the year I will be up and running.  i will have new products and packages for weddings and portraits.  

so i hope you will check back often to read updates and news, see some of my work, and be inspired to create in your own world.

as a kid one of my favorite past-times was to pour over my mom's photo albums.  soon i was making my own, documenting the stories of our lives.  i became that girl who was always taking pictures, shoving her camera in your face, and forcing people to "get together and smile!"

i continued to "play" with photography for years, but never dared considered myself an artist.  but what is true in us can't stay hidden forever.  i had many friends and family who called out my 
creativity and gifts.  they named me an artist, a photographer.  

and know i have the honor to capture people's stories and create pieces of art for them...it's beyond my own dreams!

so i am...

creative.

sensitive.

loves to celebrate.

a good listener.

prefers letters to e-mail.

a wife.

hopes for peace, justice, and love to rule.
